What are we doing?
The new Eyot Centre has now been built but there aren't any new things to go inside it, so we are raising money to buy the contents using this wish list facility to make it easier for people to donate.
We are using this website to make it easier for people to donate and for our fundraising.
Who is it for?
The facility on the Wargrave Road is for all members of The Eyot Centre, both the Canoe section and Henley Dragons, school groups and others using site as a base for weekend trips, it will also be available for hire for other events.
Where is the Eyot building?
The building is on the Wargrave Road in Henley, next door to the sea scouts.
How long has the fundraising been going on?
The Eyot Centre clubs have been fundraising for a new building for the last ten years and the structure was completed in early 2008. This is a new initiative to cover the interior decorations.
How much are you trying to raise?
The centre needs just under £12,000 in order to buy all the new fittings required to make the facility as good inside as it is out.
Who can donate?
Anyone can donate, perhaps you've had something to do with the Eyot Centre in the past and would like to show your appreciation by buying a table or chair.
How will my donation be acknowledged?
Initially you'll receive email confirmation of what you have donated, but we will also be keeping a list such that all the donations can be acknowledged, in the form of a notice on the club wall for all time.
What if I would rather give anonymously?
That's fine too, we need your name to complete the transaction but we can ensure that you are anonymous in terms of any notices put up in the future.
How can I contribute more?
We have added a facility such that you can add further multiples of ten pounds as you wish. Alternatively if you like you can order more. There is no limit :-)
How can I check what I ordered?

When will I see my name on this site?
If you have chosen to not remain anonymous, you will see your name on this site and eventually on a plaque in the Eyot Centre. We will only show names (as you have entered into the form) and they will be ordered alphabetically. Your privacy is very important and we will not show details of your contribution.
At present the "roll of honor " page is in development, Please keep coming back and you will see your name in lights in the future.
Could I use the Eyot Centre, Henley venue myself?
Yes, the centre will be available for use in events, please contact eyotcentre@molberry.com initially and we will forward on your request. A more formal event management system would be available in the future.
